Add to pot holders, pillows, personal items…. Add to crochet, knit or fabric projects. You get the picture: they are versatile! You can even use them as props in photos, like I’ve done for this New Year’s post, a few years back.
What’s particularly good about this set of numbers is that they are small. Most number patterns are simply too large to be appliquéd to projects. I could not find what I needed, which is why I designed this set of small numbers crochet patterns, and here I’m sharing them with you, for the cost of a cup of coffee.
The PDF pattern is written in US crochet terms.
Of course you can use any size yarn you’d like, and the number size adjusts itself accordingly. Here’s a tip: rather than using regular matching crochet hook for your yarn, pick one that’s a size smaller. This results in a stiffer, more solid number, which usually works better as an appliqué. Right?!
