Beach Tote Bag – Free Crochet Patterns

You are here: Home / crochet patterns / Beach Tote Bag – Free Crochet Patterns

beach crochet tote bag

This adorable string bag is just a perfect project for crochet beginners: it looks really fun and is ultra easy to put together.

There are 5 components to this bag: the base, the body, the top rim, the cord, and the flower embellishments.

The bag has a diameter of 7“ (18 cm) and 11.5” (29cm) high.

Consider making this bag in either the vibrant colors shown here  — which would make a very summery bag, or in a pastel version – which would make it a lovely Spring bag, or even a ‘new baby’ catch-all.

YARN & OTHER CROCHET MATERIALS NEEDED

Contrast color C 1 ball Handicrafter Cotton Yarn – Hot Pink

ALTERNATIVE for gentle pinky version Handicrafter Cotton Yarn 340gr-Pretty Pastels

Hi, thanks for letting me know about the broken link on my site. I changed it! Yes, those balls are crochets, NOT knitted! It was a small hook :o) I would love to do a sewing tutorial sometime. I am currently working on a boys overall pattern/tutorial. Let me know when I good time to share would be!
