50 Travel Bags & useful Accessories Free Patterns
If you have been following my blog along, you know that Wesens Art has been featured here many at time. One of the most creative people I know. She does amazing things like making glow in the dark crafts for Halloween. She does great stuff with the kids throughout the year, but revs it up around Christmas when she has loads of original ideas for cards, home made presents and more.
So, when Wesens Art posted this article that’s an overview of 50 inspiring free bag patterns that she did not have to sew all herself, I thought it was time to showcase her again. I do round-ups regularly and they take a long time to put together. Often longer than an original project would take! And you usually give away a lot of link-juice to … well…. 50 sites usually, so your blog ranking takes a hit a bit also.
Here is your list of free sewing patterns of which I selected to feature only two of my favorite weekender bags: one for him, and one for her.
Free Pattern Weekender Bag for Her
Tracing this bag to the original source, turns out this bag comes from this book: 30 minute sewing. Does anybody know this? Looks like a great book, so I thought to show you. I know I ‘d get your attention with this book title: fancy making this awesome weekender bag …. in just half an hour??!! Really?! Gotta check that out some more. Looks so great. I love this bag.
Free Pattern Weekender Bag for Him
Here’s another showcase from that huge list. The outer is cotton waxcloth and the base and trim are made with faux leather. Isn’t this just the most stylish bag bag ever for a man…
These are just two weekenders – out of the 50 weekender bags with free sewing patterns in a long list compiled by Wesens Art. Thank you, Wesens Art for sharing this.
Keep Calm and Sew On Tote Bag Pattern
Now, complement these two weekender bags with this darling tote bag for the rest of your weekend-away stuff…. It’s designed by A Creative Princess.
I have a hard time deciding which one is the most beautiful side, the outside or the inside, so I am showing you both. The inside bag has gorgeous contrast-colored fabrics and two deep pockets.
The bag outside has … tada… machine embroidery on it made by Terri on her own sewing machine! Wow.
If this bag was not splendid enough on its own, Terri made a companion laptop bag, with inside pocket again and found a perfect cable/USB stick mini bag to match her bag set. Looks fabulous.
Wow. What a talent!
Don’t dare to post anything beyond this*! Other than, TODAY’S LINK UP FEST!!
* But I will showcase a few others of you by adding them to my article on great party ideas for the 4th of July ~ an article I will promote more this week.
