Tomorrow marks the first day of Spring and we’ve groomed the closets, making space for the new: a series of quilting for beginners. Remember our featured blogger at last week’s linky party who make the unique quilted postcard pattern? Exactly. Janeen van Niekerk, who turns out is a published international quilter with many years of quilting experiments, has offered to do a series of guest posts for us on quilting: tips & techniques for beginner quilters. And tomorrow, will be her first day on the blog! You’ll love her first class because it’s easy to do, and will give you an high-impact result. Curious??!! Come back tomorrow!!
TIME FOR A PARTY
Now, it’s time for a Party! A linky party. First of all, thank you all very much for linking up with us last week! I loved seeing all your creative contributions!
This Week’s Featured Blogger
This week, I want to feature our German blogger, Wesens Art, who is more creative than she gives herself credit for. She loves to sew bags, but actually she designs bags that I love to sew…
Wesens-Art showed us an overview of all the bags she has been sewing in the last month or so. The top-left butterfly carry-all bag is my favorite bag, followed by the red/white ladybug/flower messenger bag. Click the link as there are several free bag sewing patterns here.
Time for a Party
Show us what you’ve made and link up your crafts & DIY – goodness! Please don’t forget to link back! — a text link at the bottom of your post, or link somewhere on your blog is okay!
