HOW TO MAKE AN ORGAMI BUTTERFLY – STEP 10.
Now, from the widest side of the head, where it touches the wings: from that point till the center of the upper wings at the bottom of the body, fold a crease, as is shown. Do this for both wings.
The created triangle is going to be the body.
Would it be possible to make these with material instead. Might you have instructions to do so?
It might work if you glue super-thin fabric onto thin cardboard, and make relatively large butterflies, and spray glue/starch over the final product. Heck, you may even use an iron to create firmer creases. I’m interested to find out if it works.
Alternatively, you could stitch the fabric in place as you go along. That might be more durable in the end.
Good luck!
