:: Pictorial tutorial on how to make the most exquisite cement planters ::

It’s such an easy DIY, yet the results looks, well, shabby chic glamorous!!!  I love this look + the ease & practicality of this DIY garden craft project makes it ‘one for me’!!!  For you too?

What is nice about this technique is that you can tailor the sizes and the shapes of your group of handmade planters to the size and the shape of your garden, patio, or balcony.  Size up when you can, size down when you need too. Also, great technique to make ‘odd’ shaped planters to hide unsightliness (think garbage containers, water meters, etc.)

As you can tell, don’t think that cement is a match to ultra-modern outdoor furniture only. It pairs well with rustic metal wire patio sets as it will with happy floral furniture cushions.

I hope this inspires you to get your hands ‘dirty’ and go play in the garden, making it pretty and just so… In the nick of time for your Fourth of July barbecue! Perfect!!!

It looks like this originates from a Chinese website, but the project is so utterly American, that I frankly think, the image has going around the world. If you know who took these pictures, please do let me know so I can give proper credit.  I previously did not post this because I could not find the source, but it’s simply too good to not share on the blog.  Please do send some good thoughts and well-wishes to whosoever made these darling planters!
