Time for a Party ~ 11th Edition

Welcome to the 11th edition of Time for a Party. But first, this week’s features! After that, show me some of your amazing projects….

YOU are Featured!!!!

Some of you bloggers have just splendid ideas, week after week, and it is hard to not choose these over and over again as Features.
So please just know that you are noticed and love.

But today I want to show three new blogs, that you might not have seen before here at Fine Craft Guild, whose submitted projects were outstanding, for completely different reasons, like so:

1. Happiest Girl Bedroom Design Ever

quilted bedding This is probably going to be one of my ‘all time favorites’.  So much love went into this, and no doubt this projects brings smiles to the faces to whosever walk into this room.

Shannon from Sew Sweet Home created this extra-ordinarily beautiful girl bedroom, with coordinating quilted bed spread, valance curtain, pillows. So happy, with lovely details throughout.

She may call it ‘a la Pottery Barn’ but really I have never seen anything this cute at PB and I think she can claim this as all her own!

The little pillow is the sweetest and reads the embroidered words ‘Laugh out loud’.

100% darling.

What a pro project.

So well done.

2. African Flower Tote Bag – Crochet Project

Laydilyke from Crochetapy is also featured, not just because of her submission last week, but because she documented her whole journey of finding a lovely pansy flower crochet pattern (and showing us how to make one also) to designing a bag with many of these features, which appears to be now almost done.

I love the journey of designing something cool.

3.  Yarn Hearts, Timeless Doodles

yarnheart_serenityyou

Oh, no comparison with the work that goes into rebuilding a kitchen, a laundry room or even ‘just’ a quilt for a bedroom. However, we all need DOODLES. Like Natasha from Serenity-You.

It’s important. When we doodle, we are creatively free. We pause and gain inspiration to do the biggest jobs again. So, now you know why I am hailing/featuring ‘s yarn hearts. Everyone can do this. They would make great bunting, great pins, would look good on a wreath or adorning a picture frame for mothers day, oh may, the sky is the limit.

Congratulates, Featured Bloggers!! If you are one of the featured bloggers, do please grab your ‘I’m Featured’ badge and place it prominently at your blog. You deserve it!

And now, It’s time for a NEW PARTY!!!

Tnis is the 2 full weeks, I want to rally up as many fantastic mothers day ideas as you can share with us. What have you made last year? Superb Mothers Day gift ideas, cookies & recipes, greeting cards, celebration decorations, anything honoring MOM, are ever so welcome. (No wares for sale, nor hunger games stuff, or other kind of murder-related anything. Happy good stuff only. I know, amazing that I have to spell that out …).
