Who is Fine Craft Guild
We are nothing without our readers. They are mostly women (many but not all with kids) who want to pursue creative project designs. They have an eye for beautiful, unique, trendy, but are sure keeping an eye on projects also being achievable, practical and eco-friendly. FineCraftGuild is the DIY, Craft & Home Décor blog that delivers inspiration & easy patterns to fulfill their needs.
Fine Craft Guild is written mostly by Rose but also guest artisans who love to create DIY, Crafts & Home Décor, and have a keen interest in eco-designs. Fine Craft Guild is a true fan of recycled art & craft, and we will be writing more and more about that, in all craft mediums, as time goes on. Writers are active crafters, jewelry makers, crochet-ers, knitters, home decorators, renovators, furniture upcyclers, and artist. We share our interests, crafts and findings on this blog, and only feature the best, so that you don’t need to go anywhere else but this blog. Everything is easy.
Rose, our Editor in Chief, is a self-taught painter in acrylics. It took her 4 years, but she can draw and hold a brush the right way up. Actually, she’s become quite a good painter. Most importantly, Rose lives like an artist who embellishes everything in sight. You can find handmade home accents throughout her house, made with wide range of media. Paper art & craft seem to stick with her, and her projects in this medium turn out half decent. She loves bead jewelry, making necklaces, bracelets, etc.! In Rose’s younger years she did some knitting and these days she loves getting her sewing machine out at times. Having said that, hand embroidery is a current fad…
(Prior to this, Rose was a strategy consultant specializing in international business and marketing planning, and worked all over the world. At some stage in her career, she taught multimedia, web design and international business in Silicon Valley, CA. And at present, she lives in just outside Rome in Italy, in the country.
