Don’t you just love these colors for a unique Christmas holiday decorating style?

I started last year to create and collect purple, pink and white Christmas decorations

Just to get a bit away from all that traditionalism….

Of course, with dashes of silver and glitter to make all the colors pop and to make it more festive.freetutorial_craft

This weekend, I designed this color scheme for a knit Christmas Tree ornament. Like it?

Top Loop to Hang Ornament
Do not turn work. Slide sts to other end of needle and k3. Continue to slide sts to other end of needle and k3 until cord measures about 6 in (15 cm). Bind off. Sew bound-off end of cord to beginning to make loop.

Wrap your knitted piece around foam ball and sew seam, drawing in sts of bound-off and cast-on edges. Weave in ends and  hang in your Christmas Tree.
