Highlighted Opportunities for Artists and Artisans
NICHE Awards 2001 Applications Now Available– Monday May 3, 2010
NICHE will be accepting applications starting May 15 for the 2011 NICHE Awards. The deadline to submit is August 31; students have until September 30. One application per artist with up to three works in two categories.
In addition to the past arts and crafts categories (clocks, ceramics, fiber, glass, metal, wood, jewelry etc), applications will be accepted for basketry, outdoor art, wedding jewelry, paper and religious or inspirational arts and crafts. Winners will be announced at the Philadelphia Buyers Market and featured in the Spring 2011 issue of NICHE.
Chelsea International Fine Art Competition
Art contest, juried by prominent museum curators and art experts. – Deadline March 10, 2009.
Awards valued at a total of $38,000 will include exhibition at Agora Gallery in New York city, annual Internet exposure on Art-Mine.com, publicity in ARTisSpectrum magazine and cash awards.
